- 绿原酸亦称“绿吉酸”、“咖啡单宁酸”,分子式C16H18O9,分子量354.32,由水中得针状结晶,为半水合物,110℃变为无水合物,熔点208℃,[α]D25-33.5°(水,C=1),K=2.2×10-3(27℃),有弱酸味并具收敛性,25℃时在水中溶解度为4%,较易溶于热水,溶于乙醇、丙酮,微溶于乙酸乙酯,不溶于氯仿、乙醚和二硫化碳,与浓盐酸共沸得蓝色染料,能使溴水褪色,与浓碘化氢共沸得苯甲酸,与水在230℃共热分解为苯酚,与稀盐酸共热分解为咖啡酸和金鸡纳酸等,室温与稀碱作用只得咖啡酸和金鸡纳酸。绿原酸为植物代谢的重要因素,及其异构体异绿原酸和新绿原酸存在于双子叶植物的果实、叶及其他组织中,为3-咖啡酸喹宁酸,新绿原酸为5-咖啡酸喹宁酸,异绿原酸含三种咖啡酰喹宁酸类物质。具有较广泛抗菌作用,但在体内能被蛋白质灭活,具有利胆、止血和升白细胞等作用,用于含量测定/鉴定/药理实验等,药理药效广泛,来源包括金银花。
